hometown of former President Jimmy Carter.
- Festivals: Several large festivals are
held in Georgia each year. For lighthearted entertainment, consider driving to
East Dublin to witness the Redneck Games that take place every July. Springtime
visitors who go to Macon will find themselves enchanted by the beauty of the
Macon Cherry Blossom Festival. Those who visit a little later in the year
should be sure to check out the Georgia National Fair in Perry.
